2 · Plug in & flash

Connect the device to this computer over USB.
Put it into download mode if needed (see below).
Click Install, pick the serial port, and let it run.

Good to know

SD card required for most features. Follow the SD card setup guide (wiki) - or download the evil/ folder as a zip and copy it to the root of the card.
Flashing erases the chip's existing contents (it offers a full erase).
Firmware is served from the official Evil-M5Project repo.
